PDA Stuff: YouTube on Pocket PC Devices

I found this website called YouTube Pocket. I don't think it's affiliated or sponsored in any way by YouTube, but I wish YouTube offered something like it. It allows you to watch ANY YouTube video on a supported Windows Mobile PDA or Smartphone. It involves installing TCPMP media player and the TCPMP FLV plugin. I'm using a Dell Axim X50v with WM6.

@CalcProgrammer1 are you retarded?? m.youtube can now use HQ so you get the same quality as watching on a PC except HD. For that you will still need an iPhone.

  5. CalcProgrammer1 says:

@princemaximus m.youtube.com uses a poor quality format and some mobile devices don’t support it. YTPocket supported full Flash Video but it’s dead now. An option is to use Opera Mobile which is a full blown Web browser with real Flash support.

you can go to m.youtube.com I think that’s for small devices like PDA and cell phones.

You can just go to m(dot)youtube(dot)com/app on the Web browser and get Youtube’s official YouTube App.

The shiny taskbars are just part of Windows Mobile 6.0-6.1, update your OS if you want it, the background I think I found on some Linux site when I was trying to get a good desktop background for my PC, but I liked it so I put it on my PDA too.
